My Farm is named "Equine Reflections Farm" because here we never forget that the horse always reflects back to us who we are. As a result he always keeps us honest.
"It is true that the outside of the horse is good for the inside of the man...but may we as horsemen never forget that the outside of the man must also always be good for the inside of the horse."
"When we have compassion and self control we have all the patience we need to properly train our horses."
In all my years of training horses I have come to realize that I was the one being trained. Though I have been blessed to be trained by some of the best horsemen in the world, the horse has been my ultimate trainer. He has trained me with unfailing honesty and consistency. The horse has changed me and The Spirit has developed me. My greatest hope is to pass on to others the tools that have been passed on to me in hopes that they will help them to cultivate a relationship capable of changing a life.
